Danielle Brooks, RDN, LD, (Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Licensed Dietitian) earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics from the University of Northern Colorado and completed her Dietetic Internship with National Healthcare Corporation in Murfreesboro, TN. Danielle has worked as a clinical Dietitian in long term care facilities as well as the acute care setting. Danielle also privately counsels adult and pediatric clients to improve their nutritional health, specifically on topics such as medical nutrition therapy for diabetes, heart healthy eating, diet for pregnancy and lactation, food intolerances/ allergy, weight management/ loss, picky eating, aging, and sports performance.

Danielle is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Ohio Dietetic Association and Dayton Dietetic Association. She has been a member of various specialty Dietetic Practice Groups including the Dietitians in integrative and functional medicine, Pediatric Nutrition, Nutrition Entrepreneurs, Dietitians in Health Care Communications, Hunger and Environmental Nutrition, and Medical Nutrition Therapy with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Danielle has served on the board of the Dayton Dietetic Association as the Counsel on Professional interest chair and chair-elect, and Newsletter Editor.
